Dear Editor,
Thanks for involving me in the establishment of the European Chapter of the International Society of Digital Medicine (ISDM). I am pleased to have the chance to exchange knowledge and experience with my peers from multiple disciplines. The journal Digital Medicine is a professional, independent publication that will add value to the many digital health initiatives in Europe.
I believe that the digital world will benefit every industry and medicine is certainly a most interesting sector.[1] The evolution of technology presents a unique proposition, where many emerging technologies can be utilized to stimulate further innovation and establish new groundbreaking solutions to market.
It is valuable to have the chance to share our experiences in technology usage and new innovations in wearable technologies. We are always looking for ways to connect with international partners and to build new collaborative relationships in the relevant areas of common interest.
Our view of the future trends in digital medicine envisages close collaborations with private healthcare and establishment of health ecosystems with startups and innovators, where we hope to contribute connecting people and sharing innovative content with our networks over the coming months. Our expertise in connecting stakeholders with other European and Global ISDM members is a sign of our commitment to make the European Chapter of ISDM an established chapter for best practices and international collaboration.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish the European Chapter of ISDM every success and express our willingness to collaborate in future appropriate activities.
